The Elevate Race is a fundraiser for our annual Elevate missions project. Each year the Elevate group (young adults) of First Baptist Church takes an opportunity to serve where there is a need. In previous years we built a feeding center in a needy part of Panama, helped in Paradise, CA during the recovery from the devastating Camp Fire, worked in an Indigenous community in the Panamanian jungle and we help fund a ministry in Romania that was caring for Ukrainian refugees. In 2020 and 2021 we were unable to serve as planned due to Covid, so we used the funds to purchase over $3,500 of new socks and underwear for a rescue mission. We collected over 300 bags and boxes of used clothing to donate as well. Your participation helps fund our group as we continue to look for opportunities to serve. Thank you!
