The Elevate Race is a fundraiser for our annual Elevate service trip. Each June the Elevate group of First Baptist Church takes an opportunity to serve where there is a need. In 2024 we plan to help build a feeding center in a needy part of Panama. In previous years we worked in an Indigenous community in the Panamanian jungle, we helped in Paradise, CA during the recovery from the devastating Camp Fire and we help fund a ministry in Romania that was caring for Ukrainian refugees. In 2020 and 2021 we were unable to serve as planned due to Covid, so we used the funds to purchase over $3,500 of new socks and underwear for a rescue mission. We collected over 300 bags and boxes of used clothing to donate as well. Your participation helps fund our group as we continue to look for opportunities to serve. Thank you!
